The Department of Revenue has announced a free webinar scheduled for March 26 at 9 am Central time, aimed at discussing the recent changes in franchise and excise tax law brought about by the 2023 Tennessee Works Tax Act. This session is particularly relevant for those preparing for the fiscal year-end tax return due by December 31, 2023.
The webinar is designed to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the alterations in tax law and how these changes may impact their tax returns. It’s important to note, however, that the webinar will not cover any legislation that is currently under consideration by the Tennessee General Assembly.
To participate in the webinar, interested parties can register by visiting the Department of Revenue’s website at www.tn.gov/revenue/taxpayer-education/tax-webinars.html. This event is part of a monthly series of free webinars offered by the department, aimed at educating the public on various tax-related topics. More information about the webinar series can also be found on the Department of Revenue’s website.
