In a significant development, the Nashville Police Department’s Specialized Investigations Division announced the arrest of 18-year-old Marickus Ladd on charges related to the criminal homicide of 20-year-old Gregory T. Manning II. The incident, which took place on March 8, occurred inside an apartment at the Villas of Metro Center on Ponder Place.
According to the police, the investigation revealed that Manning had gone to the apartment upon Ladd’s request. It was during this meeting that an argument broke out between the two, ultimately leading to Manning being fatally shot.
Ladd was apprehended earlier today at a residence located on Brook Castle Drive. Following his arrest, he is now being processed and booked into the Downtown Detention Center.
